Registration for participation in the Global Article 9 Conference is now open! We thank you for your participation - the participation of citizens from around the world is vital to creating a truly international conference, and in bringing the issue of Article 9 and its principles onto the global stage.

The following document contains practical information regarding participation in the Conference, as well as details about how to register. Information is specific to participants joining the conference of their own accord.

TICKETS

Tickets are required for each separate day of the conference. Details are as follows:

4 May (Sun): Contemplating Article 9: Plenary, Live concert Makuhari Messe Event Hall Pre-sales 1000 yen (10USD), on the day 1500 yen (15USD) Opens 12:30pm, starts 13:30pm (ends around 20:00)

5 May (Mon): Keeping Article 9 Alive: Symposiums and workshops Makuhari Messe International Conference Hall Pre-sales 1000 yen (10USD), on the day 1500 yen (15USD) Opens 9:00, starts 10:00 (ends around 19:00)

Children junior high school aged and younger do not require a ticket for entry.

Purchase methods:

In Japan: Tickets will be on sale at Lawson convenience stores throughout the country soon. They can also be purchased through post office transfers -- please contact the secretariat or see the Japanese language website for further details

Outside Japan: Upon receipt of the attached registration form, we will reserve the requested number of tickets. Tickets can be collected upon payment at the designated reception areas at Makuhari Messe on the day. Payment will be accepted in Japanese yen or US dollars. For participants who have pre-registered, the tickets are available at the pre-sales price; further tickets will also be available on the day.

Registration will continue up to the conference, however registrations received after 1 May 2008 will not be eligible for the pre-sales priced tickets.

Upon completion of the registration form, please send it via fax, email or post to the address listed on the form.
