Since the start of the 21st Century, the world has been engulfed in a cycle of war and violence. The war in Iraq has made it manifestly clear that peace cannot be imposed by force. Non-violent alternatives to resolve disputes are needed more desperately than ever.
The present times show us a scenario where diplomatic relations are getting more and more tense, leading to an increasing arms race which is threatening and destroying the environment and with it, human life.
Today, peace mechanisms are not only needed but indispensable. Join us for our two-lecture series on Article 9 and its significance as a tool to create peace and prevent international conflict.
